Volunteer positions

We operate between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and can be flexible with the day or time, but we ask for a commitment of at least four hours per week or month.

As a Foster & Volunteer Office Support Volunteer, duties may include:

• Cleaning and organising animal equipment returned from foster
• Stocking and tidying our storeroom
• Assisting with foster animal handovers
• Meeting and greeting foster parents and other volunteers
• Administrative tasks such as preparing paperwork and scanning documents
• Answering and redirecting phone calls
• Spending time with animals in care who need company

We’re looking for volunteers who are:

• At least 16 years old
• Able to commit to a weekly, four-hour shift for at least six months
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Comfortable with phone etiquette and willing to assist with calls if needed
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a team environment

Please note, it is critical that volunteers apply for areas where they have an interest in volunteering. Volunteers may not be able to switch to other areas after applying. If your desired volunteer area isn’t currently accepting applications, it would be preferable to wait until that position reopens.
